Megan Fox criticized for being a young bride: 'People roll their eyes' when I talk about my husband

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green wed on the beach at the Four Seasons in Hawaii on June 24.

Megan Fox has dealt with her fair share of criticism for her thin figure, acting ability and inability to filter her pouty mouth. But one thing she can't quite understand is why people feel the need to analyze her being in love.

Featured as one of the "game-changing" celebrities in the October issue of Elle, the "Transformers" actress reveals that she got scrutinized for being a young bride when she wed former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Brian Austin Green over the summer.

"When I talk about my husband, I feel as if people roll their eyes," the 24-year-old actress tells the magazine.

"It's like when you're 16 and order a martini, and the waiter says, ‘Do you think I'm stupid?' " she says. "They can't grasp that I'm old enough to be married."

Fox and Green, 36, began dating in 2004, but briefly split in 2009 after a two-year engagement. They reportedly reconciled a few months later and became reengaged in June, reported UsMagazine.com.

The couple tied the knot on the beach at the Four Seasons in Hawaii on June 24. Green's 8-year-old son with ex Vanessa Marcil, Kassius, was present for the ceremony.

"We are just even more committed to each other and we always have been," a then-engaged Fox previously told Us. "I am more in love with him now than I was in the beginning."

Penelope Cruz & Javier Bardem Will Have a 'Super Baby,' Predicts Woody Allen

Penélope Cruz & Javier Bardem Will Have a 'Super Baby,' Predicts Woody Allen | Javier Bardem, Penu00E9lope Cruz

Penélope Cruz and her husband of just over two months, Javier Bardem, may be keeping mum on the topic of her pregnancy, but that's not stopping their friends from extending their good wishes.

On the topic of Cruz's recently evident baby bump, Woody Allen, who directed the sizzling couple in 2008’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona (for which Cruz won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar) joked, "I had nothing to do with it!"

He then added, "I think it's great. I'm crazy about both of them – Javier and Penélope. And I'm sure they'll have a super baby, because their genes are award-winning."

Speaking at Tuesday's Cinema Society and Blackberry Torch premiere of his new film, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger at New York City's Museum of Modern Art, Allen, 74, wasn't shy about voicing his opinion about Cruz and Bardem as prospective parents.

"She'll be great," he said. "And why not? I think he'll be great as a father, and I think she'll be a great mother. She's a lovely person."

Peter Facinelli Supports Team Edward

Peter Facinelli is committed to his on-screen family.

As Carlislie, patriarch of the Cullen vampire clan in the Twilight series, Facinelli is firm when it comes to the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate.

"I'm Team Edward, because he's my son and I like to keep it in the family," the actor said during a video chat series for Tom's of Maine's New Wicked Fresh! Launch.

But the appeal of Edward – played by Robert Pattinson – goes beyond Facinelli's familial ties to the character. "If I had no association with the films, I'd still be Team Edward," he says. "There's something interesting about living forever, having that eternity."

Facinelli is such a fan of Edward that if he was younger, he says Pattinson might have been out of a job. "If I was maybe 10, 11 years younger – what is Rob like 24? – I'd like to play Edward, But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree so it's pretty cool playing Carlisle," says Facinelli.

As for Pattinson, Facinelli admires and jokes about him like a son. "He's a cool guy, very professional. He's always thinking, he's very intense and he's fun to hang with," Facinelli said, jokingly adding, "I wish he'd bathe once in awhile. I'm kidding! Those are all rumors; I don't know where they start those."

As for any Breaking Dawn, Facinelli can't spill the beans even if he wanted to. "I'm looking forward to getting the scripts," he said, “I talked to [screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg and she said she is almost ready for them to be sent out to the cast but she's quite happy with them."
